Apart of the FWBO a couple of Zen sesshins with the German monk Taiku Guettler had an important effect on my meditation

There are so many, e.g. Paul Klee and van Gogh, Rembrandt (especially for his self-portraits in mature age), Max Ernst (especially his collages and sculptures), the Surrealists, William Turner, Dorothea Lange, Andre Kertesz, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Brassai, Ronie Ronie, the great American street photographers, Helen Lewitt, Ansel Adams, Eva Kroth, Margaret Mellis, Barbara Hepworth, Naum Gabo, Brancusi, Wols, the Bauhaus, Picasso (especially his sculptures), Terry Gilliam, Wim Wenders, Volker Schloendorff, my friend Thomas Roth, Rilke and Rumi

A number of national and international group exhibitions when I was in my 20's, a first solo exhibition in Cologne at that time, an offer for a solo exhibition of my paintings in the laround 1990 (not realised because of my planned move to the UK)
Several national and international prizes for my photography, e.g. diploma for my work in theatre photography by the prestigious European theatre photography event in Novi Sad, the ex Yugoslavia
